Our 1st Grade students have graduated the orange level of Road to Reading. They are testing on Reading Mastery to determine which level they will begin in Monday. These students have gotten individual word reading down and now we are concentrating more on fluent decoding. Students will be learning to attend to key story details as well as oral and written directions. Deductive reasoning skills are specifically taught.
